Attack Resistance

The ARD4 was tested as an Intruder Resistant (IR) Door using:

  • 10LB sledgehammer
  • 610mm wrecking bar
  • 3-minute continuous wrecking-bar attack
  • 3-minute continuous sledgehammer attack
  • Attacks directed at the lock, hinges, top and bottom of the door

The test procedure used three attackers taking turns in quick succession to maintain maximum attack force.
