PRODUCT INFORMATION
  • This SCEC Approved Blister Pack is designed for the secure and compliant storage of keys and is typically used in secure office environments.
  • These particular Class B SCEC Endorsed Blister Pack Custody key safes are manufactured to meet the requirements of the Security Construction and Equipment Committee (SCEC), SCEC is the standing interdepartmental committee responsible for the evaluation of security equipment used by Australian Government Departments and Agencies.
  • These Class B custody key safes are fitted with the very latest KABA X-10 Digital lock, which is designed to resist all forms of external manipulation and physical attack and is approved by SCEC for the secure storage of keys.
  • The Kaba X-10 or the Sargent and Greenleaf S&G 2740B locks are specifically engineered for Class B security containers for the Australian Government's most sensitive classified material. Please note the S&G 2740B is available on request.
  • The Kaba X-10 and the S&G 2740B represent the latest advanced electromechanical locks and are approved for use on all SCEC-approved cabinetry requiring a spyproof dialling sequence.
  • The construction of this Class B Blister Plus Pack consists of a fully welded 5mm steel body with a hinged door secured by a SCEC-approved Class B Kaba X-10 Digital lock.
  • These Class B Plus Blisters are smaller Government containers that are purposely designed and built to be secured in a manner that provides positive protection against covert entry
  • These smaller key cabinets are specifically designed to be secured in a manner that provides positive protection against covert entry.
  • The ideal mounting method is to be recessed within a wall or column, and all B Class key custody safes must be installed following SCEC working note 2/84.
  • Please note – depth measurement excludes handle, hinges or digital projection unless specified
  • Please allow 55mm in depth for the lock and handle - the total depth is 205mm to allow for digital and a total width of 265mm with the door open.
  • Please note a “Letter of Authority” from the purchaser or a simple email from an Australian Government email address authorising the purchase of the Container will be required on ordering of containers . SCEC Approved Security Containers are only permitted to be sold for use by Australian Government Departments and/or private industry as part of their contractual agreement with a government department .These containers are for the storage of sensitive or security classified information as required by section 8 of the protective security policy framework.
