- Prepare installation equipment
To get yourself prepared for the wall safe installation, you will need the following equipment: drill, level, hammer & nails / stud sensor, drywall saw and tape measure. - Find the suitable place to install your wall safe
Check the location of the wall studs with a stud sensor or hammer and nail, then use a level to draw a square or rectangle shape that follows the requirements of the wall safe you purchased. - Cut out an opening
Carefully cut out an opening with the drywall saw, avoiding any electrical wiring. - Fill in empty space
The safe should preferably be mounted close enough to a stud that you can later mount your safe to. Otherwise, you may build a frame to fit inside the walls and provide a safe place for your security. - Insert the safe securely
Once you’ve prepared the opening, carefully place the safe inside it and press it flush against the wall. There should be screws included so that you can safely drill the safe to the studs, but you may have to drill from the inside of the safe. - Concealing the safe
After your safe is securely installed, it is now time to come up with creative ways to hide your wall safe. Make sure when you decide on which concealing method to use, you take into consideration how often you’ll need to access the safe. We have listed below some great ideas for you.
• Behind a pile of children’s toys.
• Behind a kitchen cabinet.

• At the back of a couch, piano, or dressing cabinet.
• Hide your safe behind a fake electrical outlet or vent in your home.
• Fix a family photo or painting over the in-wall safe, and make it look so natural that it doesn’t attract any attention.
• Construct a sliding bookshelf to cover the entire wall on which your safe is located.
