The Australian Lord Safe Company – Part III

Lord Safe Company (AA) Anti-Arc safes are high security safes and where available in four models being the 7001, 7002 , 7003 & 7004 but the same anti – arc safe was made by the Australian Safe Company and known as models 6001 SP, 6002 SP, 6003 SP & 6004 SP the body linings are pressed formed and are welded to enclose a massive 120mm thick monolithic barrier incorporating millhard and high strength composite material. The door is press formed and arc welded to enclose an integrated 90mm thick barrier of special poured Anti – Arc and TDR resisting alloy over millhard.

The Lord Safe company 51 series was a high security safe model Lord 51 series TL-30 series was produced in seven models being the Lord 51 series TL-30 – 511, 512, 513, 515, 516 & 517. This Lord safe offered six side protection, the body was 78mm thick filled with special Lord high density refractory materials and the door had a total thickness of 143mm and was pressed formed. The Lord 51 series TL-30 was also manufactured in a Lord Mini vault version and in two models the Lord mini-vault 515EW and the Lord mini-vault 518EW.

Lord Newport series 1 and series 2 was manufactured in four sizes being Lord Newport size 1, 2, 3 & 4. The series 1 was manufactured of a monolithic core of Lord special high density refractory materials which is poured into the inner and outer steel casing providing an overall protective barrier of 110mm thick. The Lord Newport series 2 is constructed of special poured TDR Torch and Drill Resistant alloy and high density refractory materials encased in steel to provide a consistent protective barrier against intrusion from all directions.

The Lord Eden cash safe – this particular model was produced in two models being the Lord Eden G3 and the Lord Eden G4. The main difference between the two is the materials used in the construction of the safe body. The G3 body has immense strength from the monolithic TDR Torc and Drill Resistant alloy incorporated in construction which is a single cast unit of consistant strength encased between heavy steel. The G4  body is similar to the G3 except that the defensive barrier protection consists of Lord special high density refractory material.

Lord Heavy Duty commercial grade safes were produced in five models such as the Lord heavy duty safe WL1, WL2, WL3, WL4, and the fifth safe being a Lord rotary deposit safe. The safe body of this series has an overall thickness of 80mm, it is encased between the inner and outer steel walls with special Lord high density refractory materials. The door has an overall thickness of 90mm and is press formed steel. Not forgetting the Lord Deposit rotary safe, this was simply an optional posting facility fitted to the top during manufacturing.

The Lord 20 series safes are a commercial grade range. It was manufactured in seven models being the Lord 20 series safe 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206 & 207. The safe body had an overall thickness of 78mm encased with Lord high strength refractory materials. The Lord 20 series safes door had a total thickness of 105mm.

Lord Platinum safes – this high security cash and jewellery safe was manufactured in five models, being the Lord Platinum safe model 80, Lord Platinum safe model 130, Lord Platinum safe model 220, Lord Platinum safe model 310,  and the Lord Platinum safe model 410. The Lord Platinum safe was also known as models Lord Platinum P1, Lord Platinum safe P2, Lord Platinum safe P3  & Lord Platinum safe P4, but whatever model Platinum safe was provided, the main difference between the Platinum safe series was the dimensions. The Lord Platinum safes were TDR (Torch and Drill Resistant) and Fire resistant, and were classed as high security commercial grade safes. The Platinum safe series has been designed to offer an cash rating at the time of $125,000, and provide 1 hour fire protection. The Platinum safe body has a pressed formed lining arc welded to form a 110mm thick body within which is poured a high strength 110MPa refractory material with steel fibre reinforcement and the door of the platinum safe has a massive door constructed of millhard barrier with additional TDR (Torch and drill resistant) protection covers the entire area.

The Lord Guardian 50 series safe was manufactured in seven models being the Lord Guardian Safe 50 series 501, 502, 503, 504, 505, 506 & 507. The safe body on the Lord Guardian 50 series has a overall thickness of 78mm encasing between the inner and outer steel walls filled with Lord high strength refractory materials. The door has an overall thickness of 143mm thick and is press formed.

The Lord TRTL 30 – 90 series of safes were manufactured in six models being the Lord TRTL 30X6 90 series models 902, 903, 904, 905 & 906ED. This Lord TRTL 30 safe body has an overall thickness of 120mm which incorporates a monolithic barrier of Lord special foundry poured mill-alloy encased within the steel walls protecting all five sides of the safe body with a single cast unit of consistent strength void of seams and joins gives the Lord safe body immense strength and protective qualities. The Lord TRTL 30 -90 SERIES Safe has been completely surrounded in barrier material with Pascrete to offer a even greater resistance against attack. The Lord safe door on the TRTL safe model has an overall thickness of 190mm and incorporated a solid core of Lord high strength poured millalloy encased between heavy steel press formed plates. Additional security has been achieved from an unique method of anchoring the entire steel door casing to a special millalloy barrier material to eliminate the removal by attackers of the outer door.

The Lord TRTL 30 x 6 – 90 series has international ratings such as the American underwriters laboratories (UL) after exhaustive tests of attacking both the safe body and door with the latest thermal and mechanical cutting tools, the Lord TRTL 30 x 6 safe was rated by the Dutch Consultative Committee of Fraud and robbery insurers, and evaluated & rated the Lord TRTL 30 X 6 safe amongst the highest security safes in the world for its resistance against burglary attack. The industrial design council of Australia awarded the Lord Safe the Design Award for Engineering excellence and innovation for the features incorporated within the lord TRTL 30 – 90 series safe.
